Komplett.ie and excellent customer service

Posted in Personal, Web by Ro on the July 10th, 2007

I recently made a purchase of 1GB of RAM from Komplett.ie, but stupidly by my own fault, I bought a single 1GB chip instead of 2x 512MB chips, which my motherboard required. The 2x %12MB chips were about €3/€4 more expensive.
I applied for a return on the Komplett site and was approved. I sent the item back and waited to hear from them. Shortly after I received a receipt for €0 and the new RAM was delivered yesterday. I was not asked to pay the price difference or the shipping costs (both of which I expected to pay). That really is excellent customer service and I will continue to shop there.

AllOfMp3.com is gone … Erm … Moved

Posted in Cool Stuff, Web by Ro on the July 2nd, 2007

So, I notice that AllOfMp3.com the legally confusing Mp3 downsite has been closed down.

but it seems to me that it has just moved to www.Mp3Sparks.com … Exact same interface and everything, but according to an article in The Times it is Legal.

Very confusing.
